Clayton Davis, D.M.D

Clayton Davis received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina, and earned his dental degree in 1980 from the Medical College of Georgia. He is a visiting faculty member at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, has served two terms as president of the Georgia Dental Education Foundation, has been president of the Atlanta area district of the Georgia Dental Association, has been state coordinator for Children’s Dental Health Month, and has served three terms in the Georgia Dental Association House of Delegates. He is an active member of the Atlanta Dental Study Group and the Hinman Dental Society. Davis, his wife, Julia, and children Kathleen, Alex and Piper, live in Gwinnett County, Ga.

Paul Jackson

Paul C. Jackson is vice president of marketing for Benco Dental. With over 30 years of experience in the dental industry, he has served in various capacities in sales and management for leading distributors. He joined the company in 1996, and oversees purchasing, media, product management, business analysis and brand development. Jackson serves on a number of committees, including the Dental Trade Alliance data committee and membership committee, which he chairs. He is also active in his church, where he is a deacon. He lives with his wife of 28 years, Cheryl, and they have three children.

Lori Paulson
Managing Director, American Dental Cooperative, United Dental Dealers
Nashville, Tenn.
Lori Paulson is the managing director of American Dental Cooperative (ADC) and United Dental Dealers (UDD), membership groups of National Distribution & Contracting Inc., Nashville, Tenn. Together, ADC and UDD represent 47 independent dental distributors in the United States and Canada. A Chicago native, Paulson worked for Midwest Dental in Des Plaines, Ill., in the early 1980s. Midwest Dental was a division of American Hospital Supply (now Cardinal Health) and manufacturer of dental handpieces. Several years later, she became product manager for Pelton & Crane, then a division of Siemens Medical. Ultimately, she became the company’s director of marketing. In 1997, she moved to St. Louis to take the job of vice president of marketing for ADC.

David A. Steck
Vice President and General Manager
Henry Schein Dental
Milwaukee, Wis.
Dave Steck is the vice president and general manager of Henry Schein Dental, a Henry Schein company based near Milwaukee, Wis. He is responsible for the field sales organization of the company. In total, Steck manages more than 1,700 employees, including zone managers, field sales consultants, equipment sales specialists, technology sales specialists and equipment service technicians. He has been in the dental industry for 29 years, starting in territory sales for Coast Dental Supply in San Diego, and ultimately advancing to general manager. In 1992, he joined Sullivan Dental Products in Milwaukee as the vice president of marketing. In his 10-year career at Henry Schein Inc., he has held several different management positions, including vice president equipment, zone general manager and vice president and general manager. He and his wife, Hyndie, have six children: Ryan, Kyle, Drew, Nick, Tyler and Shelby.

Mark Humenik, D.D.S
Northbrook, Ill.
Mark Humenik received his bachelor’s of science degree in dentistry, with honors, from the University of Illinois in Chicago, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery two years later from the same school. Since 1988, he has been a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society. Since 1999, he has been a member of the Independent Dental Organization. He has served in a variety of positions with the North Suburban Branch of the Chicago Dental Society, and he is currently a trustee of the Illinois State Dental Society and ISDS board liaison on the New Dentist Committee. Humenik has served as a volunteer for the El Nino Rey Dental Mission in Quechultenango, Guerrero, Mexico, since 2001.
